• AGA Philadelphia Chapter Connects with Students at Temple University

The AGA Philadelphia Chapter recently visited Temple University to connect with the next generation of accounting and finance professionals. The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with students interested in careers in government accountability, public service, and the broader public financial management community.

During the visit, chapter representatives spoke with Temple’s accounting clubs and members of the university’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter. The discussion focused on career pathways within government, the importance of ethical leadership in public service, and the long-term benefits of professional involvement early in one’s career.

The chapter was proudly represented by Jonathan Stehle, Director of Intergovernmental Partnerships at AGA. He led an engaging and informative session, sharing insights from his professional experience and highlighting the role AGA plays in supporting accountability, transparency, and professional development across all levels of government.

The AGA Philadelphia Chapter remains committed to building strong relationships with local universities and supporting students as they explore opportunities in government and public service. The chapter looks forward to continuing its outreach efforts and fostering connections that strengthen the future of the profession.
